Where Peacebuilding Meets Social Innovation: Lessons from Rwanda

Written after joining a Kroc School field practicum with Professor Patricia Márquez and eleven students, Bianca’s reflection explores how Rwanda is applying social innovation across mental healthcare, inclusive employment, social entrepreneurship, and community-based tourism.

The piece demonstrates an educator’s ability to connect lived experience with careful analysis: observing how organizations rebuild trust, expand opportunity, and design services around human dignity while still asking difficult questions about peace and sustainable regional progress.

Speaking about the unspeakable
